- 1737 – need to talk? – a new access point to existing helpline services in the National Telehealth Service where people can call or text 1737 for free at any time to access support from a trained counsellor. The same trained mental health counsellors that currently respond to calls, texts, webchat and emails across the National Telehealth Service mental health helplines will respond to people who access 1737 (including the Alcohol Drug Helpline and Gambling Helpline as well as Depression Helpline). 1737.org.nz
