SSPA Canterbury is a member of the Association of Social Service Providers Aotearoa.

SSPA Canterbury Member Organisations provide an array of services for family violence, child abuse and neglect, budget and financial advice, sexual violence, early intervention for vulnerable and at risk children and families, families under stress, and vulnerable and at risk people.

SPPA Canterbury was formed to:

• holds regular forums to exchange information and discuss issues of concern to  service providers.
• organises or facilitates training events.
• facilities an email information network.
• provides information services and resource material to its members.
• provides representatives to collaborative working parties including Safer Christchurch, COSS, Linwood Link and Strengthening Families Canterbury.
